This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World!

Disney has shared updates about certain upcoming attractions confirming that they’ll be opening in 2021, like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. On the other hand, there have been a handful of projects that have been delayed or haven’t been mentioned in quite some time. It now seems like it will be a bit longer than expected before we’re able to experience some of them.
According to USA Today, a few of Disney’s new attractions will likely be delayed past 2021. These postponed projects affect both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

The upcoming coaster, TRON Lightcycle Run, coming to Magic Kingdom will likely be delayed beyond 2021. Construction has been underway on this project for a while now, but it appears that it may not open in time for the park’s anniversary.

Another attraction that will seemingly be delayed is Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. This walk-through trail is expected to include water features and other interactive elements. USA Today suggests that this will probably not open this year, either.

Disney hasn’t officially confirmed the delay of these projects, but we’ll definitely be on the lookout for any updates. Check back with us for more Disney news!

Yes. I am going Oct 29 to Nov 5 2021, before I get on a cruise ship.
I went this last Oct and can’t wait to go again. My Grand daughter (many adventures of Adam and Zoe) just moved to Florida so I’m sure I’ll be there soon.
So TRON Lightcycle and Journey of Water might open in 2022?
