D23 officially kicks off today, but late last night Disney dropped some big attractions news! As part of its Park-wide transformation, Epcot is getting a Moana-themed attraction, Journey of Water!

The poster created for the attraction is old-school Epcot but features the iconic Heart of Te Fiti Spiral and, of course, plenty of magical water.
Disney also released a piece of concept art via Disney Parks Blog that paints a colorful picture of what may be the entrance of the attraction. Lush vegetation would truly create a sense of Motunui!

We expect to hear more about coming Parks experiences and attractions on Sunday at the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products panel, and we’ll be reporting from D23 throughout the weekend!

A Moana themed experience would be wonderful! It is sorely needed. They should expand the ‘Coco’ theme too.
And what popular current attraction will be demolished to make room for yet another movie-themed attraction?
Right now the “smart money” is on Fountain of Nations. We’ll see what they announce on Sunday.
I hope they make as many rides as possible wheelchair accessible. I understand roller coasters can’t be, but it amazes me that of all rides, Na’vi River (a movie with the lead actor in a wheelchair) does not have a ride vehicle that a wheelchair can roll onto. And Frozen, a relatively new ride, not accessible. 😟
Waiting to hear that they are dropping the prices on admission. We used to get annual passes and go 3 times a year but now too expensive. This last increase was ridiculous! Once a year now.
I would not hold my breath about prices going down. Prices could stabilize though if attendance either drops or stays the same.
