We’ve been following along with the renovations at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort ever since they were first announced last year.
We’ve watched as they demolished the monorail station and continued progress around various parts of the resort, all in anticipation of a summer reopening. While the DVC rooms are currently available, we now know when the standard rooms at the Poly will once again be opened to the public!
Disney announced today that the Polynesian Village Resort would be accepting bookings starting in late July 2021. When we headed to the Disney World website, we noticed that the standard rooms at this resort could be booked starting July 19th, 2021.
What’s more, the photos for these rooms match the refurbished Moana look that Disney showed us today! There are touches of the movie throughout, including artwork and special patterns and textures.
We can’t wait to stay in these newly updated rooms, and we’re thrilled to share more about the reopening of this resort in the future. Disney has plans to announce more soon, so we’ll make sure to give you all the details when they do.
