Magic Kingdom

Disney World is constantly changing, so there are closures and refurbishments happening all of the time. Your favorite ride, show, attraction, or activity could be closed so it’s better to prepare now than before you show up to the parks. So we’re taking you through 7 things you can’t do in March at Disney World!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

One of the most popular coasters in Disney World officially closed on February 21st for a lengthy refurbishment. The ride isn’t set to reopen until sometime this summer — be prepared for this if you’re visiting in the coming months!

Although there are other places to shop in Tomorrowland, the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. shop is currently closed for refurbishment. Disney has not announced when the shop could reopen or if it will have any merchandise for the nearby TRON Lightcycle / Run.

The gift shop at the end of Space Mountain (called Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.) is being refurbished now. Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date for this shop yet.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Blizzard Beach has reopened with some new updates, however, Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed. We recently got a reopening timeline for the water park, though, and H2O After Hours events are returning to the park.
