While we’ve been back in Disney World, we have seen plenty of new health and safety regulations around the parks.

While there are a few experiences that we won’t be able to have during the initial re-opening, Disney World is has implemented new processes to help make people’s vacations special when they visit.
Although we’ve already experienced a HUGE survey from Animal Kingdom since we’ve returned to Disney World, the parks have now also sent out a questionnaire about Magic Kingdom.

Similar to the survey we’ve seen from Animal Kingdom, the new Magic Kingdom survey also asked about what our experiences have been with the new health and safety guidelines in the parks.

Although we’ve seen measures like temperature checks, updated mask policies, ride procedures, and more, people have various experiences that important to Disney’s changing protocols.

While the health and safety measures have been important to guests, Cast Members have also been extremely helpful in making sure that everyone is following the guidelines in the parks.
Since we’ve been to restaurants and even walked around the parks, Cast Members have made sure to inform people about the procedures that everybody is required to follow. There have also been multiple signs and overhead announcements in the parks talking about the changes in face mask protocols as well!

But, the health and safety measures aren’t the only differences we’ve seen around the parks! The attractions have also been operating with lower wait times and Magic Kingdom has had dispersed crowds with limited capacity. (When’s the last time you were able to get on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in 5 minutes??)

Although we’ve seen some CRAZY low wait times, the rides are only using stand-by lines right now without FastPasses. But, Rise of the Resistance is using a modified form of Boarding Groups where people are able to join the Virtual Queue at 10 AM and 2 PM.

Although you might not be able to hug your favorite characters, you can still spot them during the Character Cavalcades or around the parks. Our hearts have been melting after we’ve seen Pooh with a butterfly net and Joy frolicking through the grass!!

Along with the character meet-and-greets, many of the character dining experiences around the parks and resorts aren’t available either. However, we’ve seen the alternative version of distanced character dining when we’ve been back to Garden Grill and Topolino’s Terrace.

The survey was definitely long, but it covered so many details about our experience in Magic Kingdom. Although it takes a moment to complete, Disney has been using the feedback from guests to improve the guidelines and experiences of everyone visiting the parks.

As we keep going back to the parks, we’ll continue to update you on everything happening in Disney World!
