EPCOT Cast Members Can Be Seen Carrying Signage Regarding the New Stationary Face Mask Policy in Disney World

Last week, we learned more about Disney’s updated mask policy that puts into clearer terms their rules regarding eating and drinking while wearing a face mask. This policy, which states that guests must be stationary while consuming food or beverages, has now been posted on signs throughout  World Showcase in EPCOT.

It now looks like Disney has taken this a step further by adding a human element to reminding guests of these rules.

While at EPCOT today, we spotted Cast Members walking around World Showcase with signs that remind guests of the face mask policy when it comes to remaining stationary. The sign states, “Wear a face covering unless stopped to eat or drink.”

This face mask policy is one that Disney has been keen on communicating out to visitors during the “Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.” Under normal conditions, walking around World Showcase while eating and drinking is customary amongst guests.

We will continue to monitor the face mask policies throughout Disney World and will provide updates as we learn more!

  1. Won’t be attending food and wine. Weekends cries are ridiculous w long lines. Not enough seating to ‘eat or drink while stationary. Won’t be returning to the Disney’s parks with the current situation.
