You Might Regret Not Packing These Four Essentials for Your Disney Trip

You’ve got your suitcases packed, tickets ready, and a trip to Walt Disney World planned. But when you get there, you realize you left that one thing behind that you meant to pack, and it was sitting right next to your suitcase, and how — HOW — did you miss it?!

Did you pack everything you need?

Here we’re talking about four essential items to consider packing so you can avoid regret on your Walt Disney World vacation!

Portable Phone Charger

With how ingrained the My Disney Experience app has become in the Disney World, well, experience, cell phones have become a must-pack item in the parks. How else are you going to Mobile Order your Pulled Pork Cheese Fries from Flame Tree Barbecue?

Planners especially are going to want to carry a portable phone charger with them in the parks just in case you can’t find any plugs around you. When you grab an extra FastPass (or twelve!) after your initial three, you’ll be glad your phone was topped off on juice.

Band-Aids

No matter how good of a planner you are, more than likely your schedule won’t entirely survive first contact with Disney World. Accidents do happen, and in the case someone (especially your kids) gets a boo-boo, it can be a trip-saver to have band-aids on hand.

First Aid offerings at Hollywood Studios First Aid

Packing some Band-Aids (and basic first aid) for your treks in the parks will prevent you from having to hoof it to a First Aid center if something goes wrong and wasting valuable time you could be riding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. You’re also going to be doing a lot of walking, so Band-Aids will come in handy for those blisters you might pick up.

Refillable Filtered Water Bottle

When you’re beating foot in the Florida sun for most of the day, you’ll be thankful you decided to pack one of these babies. It’ll make waiting in line more bearable, and it’s getting even easier to refill your mugs with more refillable water fountains in the parks.

We also recommend getting a water bottle with a filter if you’re not a fan of the taste of Florida water. Especially because you’re going to be active for a good part of the days you’re in Disney, it’s super important to stay properly hydrated.

Sunscreen and/or Aloe vera Gel

Speaking of the sun, yes, you’re more than likely going to need sunscreen. Whether you’re tackling World Showcase or rushing down the Humunga Kowabunga at Typhoon Lagoon, being out in the sun for long periods of time means you’re going to want that sweet, sweet UV ray protection.

It might also be a good idea to pack some type of Aloe vera gel in case the sun does break through the SPF. It’s not going to be pleasant dealing with a sunburn on your vacation, so having something to help with the cool-down will be a life-saver.
