If you’ve been considering getting an Annual Pass, here’s how you can maximize your Annual Pass and get the most bang for your buck!

Choose The Right Pass!

When it comes to the Annual Pass, you’ve got a couple of pass options depending on the circumstances of your Disney World visit. For everyone, there’s the Incredi-Pass, which costs $1,299 a year (Florida Residents can pay on a monthly basis) and comes with no blockout dates and with the ability to hold up to five park reservations at one time.

Weigh out your options and make sure to pick the right one depending on your circumstances and needs.

Go As Much As Possible!

As long as you go to Disney World often, it’s easy to not only break even on the price of your pass but to get more than you paid for! The Incredi-Pass takes about 12-15 days at the parks to be worth it, making it the most difficult to break even. The Sorcerer Pass takes about 8-12 days to break even, making it possible to get your money’s worth after just one or two trips.

The Pirate Pass takes about 5-10 days to become worth it, while the Pixie Dust Pass can be worth it after 3-5 days. This means that the Pirate and Pixie Dust Passes are the easiest to get the biggest bang for your buck if you’re a Florida Resident.

Use Your Discounts!

Annual Passholders get a LOT of discounts! Many retailers at Disney World have merchandise discounts for Passholders. Meanwhile, Disney often has promotions for Passholders to get reduced prices on Disney World hotels.

Another perk for Passholders is a dining discount. A number of restaurants in Disney World provide meal discounts and other perks! Discounts up to 20% for dining and shopping can make a dent in the overall cost.

Know Your Perks!

Speaking of perks, let’s dive into a few of them! One of the fun perks for Annual Passholder is Early Ride Preview, like the recent preview for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. You get to ride attractions before they open!

  1. Until Disney lifts the restrictions on park hopping, the only safe ticket is for one park/one day. I would be way too upset to plan a trip based on hopping then be prevented from doing so. Frankly, I don’t see us returning to WDW until things get back to normal. We can live without the 50th Anniversary hoopla.
