“To all who come to this happy place, welcome.” That’s what Walt Disney said to the opening day crowd at Disneyland, and he meant it! Disney does its best to make the theme parks more easily navigated for all kinds of people, with options like handicap-accessible facilities and the DAS (Disability Access Service) pass. And if you’re a family with small kids, there are ways to make your trip easier as well — including stroller rentals!

Let’s admit — it would be incredibly difficult to traipse around the Disney World parks for any amount of time with your young children in tow without a stroller. It’s hot, they’ll get tired, and you’ll likely get tired of carrying them when you’re all walking more steps than you’re used to. And if you don’t want to drag your own stroller all the way to the parks, you can rent one when you get there!
Renting a Stroller from Disney
If you’d like to rent a stroller directly from Disney, there are several locations to do so around the parks and Disney Springs. (Keep in mind that a $100 credit card deposit is required for Disney Springs rentals.)

Pricing for single strollers is $15 per day unless you pay for a multi-day (length of stay) rental for $13 a day. Double stroller rentals also get cheaper per day if you rent for multiple days, with a rate of $31 for a single day and $27 per day for a multi-day rental. You can pre-pay for the length of stay ticket, then just show your receipt at each park to pick up your stroller there. It’ll save you some money!
Disney does not have harsh height and weight requirements, however, single strollers are recommended for children 50 lbs or less and double strollers are recommended for children 100 lbs or less. There is no height limit or suggestion.

If you’re looking for those stroller rental locations, there are six different places to find them around the property. At Magic Kingdom, you’ll head directly under the Main Street train station, while at EPCOT you can visit the rental spot directly in front of Spaceship Earth or the one located at International Gateway.

At Hollywood Studios, stop by Oscar’s Super Service directly to the right as you enter the park. In Animal Kingdom, there is a stroller rental area available near the park entrance at Garden Gate Gifts. And finally, at Disney Springs, you’ll need to stop by the Sundries shop near the bus lot.

So what do these strollers look like? Well, if you’ve been before, you’ve probably spotted them all over the place. They’re brown and plastic with a canopy over the top. They’re nothing particularly special or comfortable.

It’s important to note that if you rent a Disney stroller…they can’t be removed from the parks. If you choose to Park Hop, you’ll simply bring your receipt to the second park and pick up a new stroller at that park’s rental location. Also, when you’re in the park, you’ll want to look out for the designated stroller parking locations since you won’t be allowed to bring your stroller into ride/attraction queues.

Renting a Stroller from Kingdom Strollers
If you’d like to get a nicer stroller (i.e. more customizable and in softer materials) that you can use throughout your vacation, we recommend renting from Kingdom Strollers! Rental prices change depending on the stroller type, but they start at $50 for a single stroller for 1-3 nights. Besides single strollers, they also offer double strollers, crib/bedding options, ECVs, and special needs strollers.

If you rent from Kingdom Strollers, you can pick up your stroller at the Orlando International Airport, have it delivered to your Disney Resort, have it delivered to your off-site hotel, or have it delivered to your vacation home. They’re much better quality than the Disney strollers — they’re padded, they recline, and they can be taken anywhere you go!
And on top of all those things, you can purchase stroller insurance to go with your rental. That way, you’re covered if anything gets lost or stolen. That’s great peace of mind for your vacation.

It’s important to mention that stroller wagons are NOT permitted in Disney World parks. Due to the size, these can often clog up walkways and cause more traffic jams around the parks which is likely why Disney decided to ban them. We know they are great for carrying stuff and getting the kiddos from point A to point B, but you won’t be able to bring them into the parks.
We highly recommend investing in a solid park bag to hold everything you might need for the day. Check out the rules and suggestions for park bags here!

Whether you rent from Disney or from Kingdom Strollers or decide to bring your own, there are plenty of great reasons to bring a stroller to Disney World if you’re traveling with little ones. It may be worth it to keep your kids from getting exhausted and overwhelmed!
