It’s finally happening — Halloween is here! We’re at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, which kicks off the entire Halloween season in the parks.

There’s SO much to see and do at the party, including exclusive entertainment, snacks, characters, and more. But some rides are also getting in on the Halloween fun: they’re getting spooky overlays just for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So let’s go check them out.
First, we’ll tell you about the rides that will be open during the party. Here’s the full list:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Jungle Cruise
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Swiss Family Treehouse
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Haunted Mansion
- Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- “it’s a small world”
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- The Barnstormer
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Astro Orbiter
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
- TRON Lightcycle / Run.

However, some of these rides are going to be a little different for the party: they’re getting special Halloween-themed overlays. That includes Space Mountain which gets some spooky exterior lighting. However, the ride itself is a lot scarier: it’s in total darkness with a spooky soundtrack.

You’ll want to head on over to Fantasyland where Mad Tea Party has some special effects and lighting just for the party. Spinning around in circles was never so spooky.

You’ll get to hear some exclusive Halloween jokes if you visit the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland. It’s also a treat stand, so you’ll definitely want to stop by!

We’ll be filling you in on everything you need to know about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
