We now have confirmation of when two DIFFERENT character dining experiences will be happening in Disney World!

Dining with characters while visiting Disney World can be one of the most memorable meals that will last you a lifetime, but if you’re anything like us, you might find you love them so much you’ll make them a repeatable experience. We’ve dined EVERYWHERE at Disney World that includes characters who will come meet you at your table, and one of our favorites is getting serious makeovers (yes, multiple) soon!
As a Disney Adult and Disney mom, character dining has always been at the top of our must-do list when I’m visiting Disney World. These experiences give us time to sit down to a full meal without feeling like we’re compromising on precious time we could be spending meeting and greeting around the park.

However, if you’ve visited Hollywood & Vine Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently, everything you experienced is about to CHANGE in a big way! This character dining experience takes place in an Art Deco-style restaurant complete with a roaring buffet of hot, cold, and dessert items for the taking, photo ops, and several of the most notable Disney pals that will come around your table to say “hello” and dance around the restaurant with you!

But if you’re not as familiar with the restaurant, you may not realize that this meal changes throughout the year — and we’re not talking just about the menu offered on the buffet. No, the WHOLE restaurant’s experience changes seasonally, and Disney has just confirmed when we’ll see some of the most anticipated dining experiences return here.

Minnie’s Holiday Dine will take place between November 6th, 2025, and January 4th, 2026. During the holiday overlay, you’ll find the characters dressed in their holiday best outfits, themed photo ops for the season, and a few festive changes to the menu that will put you into the holiday spirit!

Shortly afterwards, Minnie’s Silver Screen Dine, celebrating Hollywood glitz and glamour, will start on January 5th, 2026. During this seasonal dine, you should expect to find Minnie and her friends dressed to the nines and help them celebrate your arrival at the restaurant “red-carpet” style.

This character meal happens to be one of the very few where you can dine multiple times throughout the year and have a completely different dining experience depending on when you’re dining. We’re excited to see the return of the seasonal rotation of overlays for this restaurant and can’t wait to make a repeat visit!
