Disney World vacations require a lot of planning. You’ve got to figure out park pass reservations, dining reservations, the right hotel, and which rides you’re going to visit. So we’re here to help out!

We’ve got all kinds of planning resources to make your life a little bit easier. Right now, we’re bringing you a full list of what’s going to be CLOSED in Disney World so that you know how to plan around Disney World’s refurbishments. Take a look!
Magic Kingdom Closures
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad will continue its years-long closure in Magic Kingdom this week. Disney still hasn’t announced a reopening date for this attraction.

We have seen some signs that the Railroad could reopen soon, such as train testing and Cast Member training!
Enchanted Tales with Belle
This Disney princess attraction is where guests could meet Belle and help her tell the story of Beauty and the Beast.

Right now, Enchanted Tales with Belle is still closed, and Disney hasn’t announced when it might reopen.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
At this character meet-and-greet location in Storybook Circus, guests could previously say hello to Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, and Donald.

Unfortunately, this spot is still closed right now. But Disney has said that it will reopen sometime “in the coming months.”
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
We won’t have to wait too long before Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reopens! This Disney princess and prince salon will open its doors on August 25th.

Note that Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or Disney Springs — the August reopening is just for the Magic Kingdom location.
Harmony Barber Shop
The Harmony Barber Shop will reopen this week! It’s scheduled to return on July 31st.

You can make reservations now to get your hair cut here, but keep in mind that prices have increased since it was last open.
Find out when Magic Kingdom is going to open EARLY in August.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closures
Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is still closed in Hollywood Studios right now, but Disney has promised that it’ll reopen sometime this year.

When it returns, Fantasmic! will have some updates to the show, including new effects, characters, and stunts.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
This Little Mermaid show has been closed for a long time, and it still doesn’t have a reopening date yet.

Disney hasn’t given any update about the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, so we don’t know when or if it’ll return.
Learn why you might want to AVOID Hollywood Studios.
EPCOT Closures
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
If you’re visiting EPCOT soon, you can visit the Food & Wine Festival, which will last through November 19th of this year. You’ll find all kinds of tasty eats there, with more than 25 different food booths.

The Appleseed Orchard food booth is located inside the Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360 theater, which means the movie can’t play right now. Instead, you can get an apple crumble tart or try some apple cider there! We’re expecting the movie to return after the Food & Wine Festival ends on November 19th.
7 Things You Need to Know Before Going to EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival
Disney Water Park Refurbishments
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
Blizzard Beach Water Park is still closed, and Disney hasn’t announced an opening date or timeline for the park.

If you’re looking for a way to cool off on your next trip, head to Typhoon Lagoon instead! That’s Disney World’s other water park.
Learn about some Disney World hotel pool closures that could affect your upcoming trip.
Depending on your group’s priorities, you may want to buy Genie+ so that you can save time by skipping standby lines for certain rides in the parks. Genie+ costs $15 per person per day, and you’ll use the My Disney Experience app to make Lightning Lane reservations at the attractions you want to visit. Check out our full guide to Genie+ here.

If you’d rather not pay the extra cost of Genie+, there are other ways to find short lines in Disney World! Try rope-dropping each park (which means getting to the park well before opening time and heading to your favorite attraction first), or stay at each park until it closes. We often see ride wait times go down later in the evening as many guests leave a bit early.
