NEW Details Revealed For EPCOT’s Upcoming Moana Attraction

Disney is currently in the middle of giving EPCOT a big transformation, which includes some exciting new attractions.

One of the attractions is called Journey of Water and it’s inspired by Moana! It’s the first attraction inspired by the movie and will be an immersive exploration trail that will allow guests to play with “living water.” And now, we have MORE details about the upcoming attraction!

Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a new image on his Instagram from Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.

It’s a preview of the graphic style that we will see throughout the attraction! This design is inspired by the film Moana, and Riddley said that graphics like this one will guide guests through the cycle of water in fun and engaging ways.

The Imagineer said that they’ll have more to share soon about this attraction, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for what’s to come!

Right now, the attraction is still very much under construction, but we have seen some exciting progress, like rock formations and support beams.

This new attraction is only part of the HUGE transformation EPCOT is currently undergoing, which will also include new areas for festival activities. Many things have already opened for the transformation, like Creations Shop and Connections Cafe and Eatery.
