PHOTOS: First Look Inside EPCOT’s New Creations Shop!

Disney World’s biggest announcements typically happen when there’s a new land, restaurant, or attraction opening in the parks, like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Today, however, we’re celebrating the grand opening of a new store!

That’s right, today is the official opening day of Creations Shop, the new main shopping destination at EPCOT. Creations Shop is taking the place of Mouse Gear, but you’ll still be able to find all of those must-have souvenirs, including Minnie Ears, t-shirts, plush, mugs, and everything in between. And, today we’re taking you along with us to check out the brand new store!

We’ve gotten quite a few sneak peeks at this shop in recent weeks and months, with Imagineer Zach Riddley sharing tons of behind-the-scenes footage during the design and construction phases of this shop. And, now that it’s open let’s take a look around the store and see what it’s like, including some of the NEW merchandise you can find here!

You’ll find the Creations Shop located in Future World, right next to the newly reopened Club Cool.

And, while there’s a lot of merchandise to check out inside, the first thing that will likely draw your eye is the new design details.

If you look around, you’ll spot murals honoring Mickey Mouse, as well as 10 different sculptures created by Disney Imagineers.

When we visited today, there were A LOT of excited people ready to shop, so it was pretty busy inside.

When it comes to merchandise, the newest collection you’ll find is the EPCOT Light Collection, which is one part of the EPCOT Light & Color Collection.

There’s a tiny Spaceship Earth ornament for $19.99…

…a 1000 piece EPCOT-themed puzzle for $22.99…

…a shiny silver hat patterned like Spaceship Earth, similar to most of the Light Collection…

…and new EPCOT Light Minnie Ears which actually light up with a silver bow and the Spaceship Earth pattern on clear ears for $39.99.

There’s also a new mug for $19.99…

…this silver backpack for $59.99…

…and new Corksicle bottle for $39.99.

There’s also a Spaceship Earth-inspired tumbler glass for $29.99. The texture makes it look really neat!

There were a number of new t-shirts too, like this white t-shirt with a silver Spaceship Earth pattern for $36.99…

…this white t-shirt with EPCOT in shiny silver on the side and textured sleeves for $36.99…

…and this grey t-shirt with Mickey, Spaceship Earth, and Figment for $24.99.

There are also white sweatpants with EPCOT along the sides for $44.99.

We also spotted some colorful Spaceship Earth merchandise, like this tumbler for $19.99…

…and this notebook set with 3 different EPCOT designs is $16.99.

Of course, there’s plenty of other things to check out around the store including backlit displays…

…and Mickey murals!

But, you might want to be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re headed into the shop soon — it was very busy today for the grand opening and there were even multiple lines for checking out.
