NEWS: Opening Date Announced for EPCOT's Creations Shop

If you’ve ever been to Disney World, then you know that there are gift shops all over the place!

Many rides end in them, hotels have them in the lobbies, and each park has one (or more!) massive one where you can find all the hottest items. It’s hard to go to a park without doing at least a little bit of shopping, and soon, you’ll be shopping in a NEW location at EPCOT!

A few months ago, Disney announced that the Creations Shop would be coming to EPCOT to replace Mouse Gear as the main merchandise location. And now, we know when we’ll be able to shop in this brand-new store — September 15th!

In just over a week from writing, you’ll be able to shop at the new store, which is bringing a new collection of Disney merchandise with it!

Imagineer Zach Riddley also shared that in the Creations Shop there will be 10 new statues. The statues are one-of-a-kind pieces that have been designed by an Imagineering artist. Each piece in inspired by their personal interpretation of what Disney and creativity means to them. Get a first look at one of these statues below!

Over the past few months, we’ve seen some cool details and construction progress from this new location, and we’re definitely getting excited to check it out for ourselves. We’ll be there on opening day to take all the pictures and share our experience with you!
