PHOTOS: NEW Disney World 50th Anniversary Popcorn Boxes Have Arrived!

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is quickly approaching, which means that all the parks are getting ready for the big celebrations!

We’ve seen testing for EPCOT’s new fireworks show, new golden character statues, and decorations galore for the big event. And, besides all the big changes we’ve spotted, there are a lot of little details around that show the 50th is on its way and today we found a 50th Anniversary detail in Magic Kingdom that involves snacking!

It’s never too early for some popcorn in Disney World, so we stopped for a quick snack in Fantasyland and noticed that the popcorn was being served in NEW 50th Anniversary-themed popcorn boxes!

NEW popcorn boxes have arrived!

These new boxes have a big “50” logo on the front, surrounded by the park icons.

You can spot Spaceship Earth from EPCOT, the Tree of Life from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Cinderella Castle from Magic Kingdom, and the Tower of Terror from Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

And, Tinker Bell is even on the box too enchanting the icons with their 50th Anniversary makeovers, which includes a new “EARidescent” color scheme and gold details.

Plus, against the dark blue background are lighter blue silhouettes of some fan-favorite Disney characters like Dory, Lumiere, Dumbo, Orange Bird, and more!

Currently, these popcorn boxes can only be found at snack kiosks in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom and they’re not on display so you’ll need to ask before you order. But, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for when (or if) these become available at more parks soon!
