We’re so happy to see how many things have come back to Disney World!
From Animal Kingdom entertainment to character meet and greets, things are slowly but surely returning to “normal” at Disney World. One attraction that has yet to return is the Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom, which was closed for the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run, but we just got a huge update!
Cast Members are now training for the reopening of the Walt Disney World Railroad! Disney just shared this picture of the Cast Members who are training to operate the ride, so we’re one step closer to seeing the train open again.
We saw the railroad testing back in March, and doing routine engine checks in February, so our anticipation has been building for a while to see this ride return to Magic Kingdom!
We’ve been keeping an eye on TRON construction and checking out railroad updates along the way. Near the construction, we spotted some new train tracks back in June…
…and now you can see the train tracks coming through a tunnel under TRON.
We can’t wait to learn more about when the Walt Disney World Railroad will reopen, and we’ll keep you updated with everything we see!
