National Plan for Vacation Day is here! The last Tuesday in January is dedicated to planning our vacation at the start of the year for the rest of the year. It kinda gets us out of the winter blues while thinking of sunny Florida in the warmer months (because, duh, we’re planning a trip to Disney World).

Our team is made up of Disney experts. Some are travel agents, others are former Cast Members, but we all spend every single day at Disney World or talking about it. So, we’re going to tell you how to plan the perfect Disney vacation!
Our first tip recommends booking your vacation around travel deals you can find. Disney World currently has multiple discounts on hotels for this spring and summer. Disney hotels come with some great perks; Notably, you get free transportation to the Disney parks and Disney Springs. If you need help choosing a hotel, we included our free guide above.

Next, if you’re going to Disney during busy seasons like spring break, summer, or the holidays (aka any time kids are out of school), you might want to grab Disney’s skip-the-line service. Ride lines can get up to two or three hours long, so if you want to ride as many rides as possible, it’s the best game plan. If you want more info, grab our free guide below!
We’ve tested out tons of strategies, so you know the best Lightning Lanes to pick. We’ve used them in all the parks, during busy and not busy seasons, and probably every combination of Lightning Lanes you might use on your trip. Because Lightning Lanes cost money, you want to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth, so that’s why we’ve figured it all out for you!
Don’t forget to do your research! Disney World has four theme parks, two water parks, and a shopping center. There’s so much to do that we can’t create a one-size-fits-all guide. We recommend looking into the parks, restaurants, and rides you want to prioritize visiting. For example, if your kids love the movie Frozen, you’ll want to visit EPCOT for the Frozen Ever After ride, a meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa, or even character dining at Akershus, where you can chat with princesses over a meal. But if your family loves thrill rides, you should head to Hollywood Studios for Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and you’ll probably want to focus on getting quick-service meals for maximum ride time.

We have reviews from all rides, restaurants, and more, so you can read through our favorites and figure out what needs to be on your list. Restaurants you’ve loved in the past might have also changed (or closed!) since your last visit, so we keep updated information on menus and everything else, so you’re not blindsided by a completely new menu at the restaurant your family has talked about for years.

Our YouTube is always hard at work showing off its perfect park days, too! Not sure where to start? Watching a video can give you a visual as to what you’re going to see at your parks and what your family might like or dislike.
We also love using a travel agency since they’re experts in EVERYTHING Disney! From every discount, Lightning Lane, hotel, ride, and literally everything else you haven’t thought about for your Disney World trip, and the best part? There’s NO additional cost to you. So, someone books your vacation without the stress? Say less!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

There’s a lot to plan for a Disney World trip — but that’s why we’re here. Make sure you keep following AllEars for all the best, up to date information, and remember: it’s never too early to plan your next vacation!
