REVIEW: This $7 Snack Might Have Solved a BIG Breakfast Problem in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Breakfast at Disney World can be hard. Most restaurants and snack stands aren’t open in the morning, and options can feel limited while you’re running around trying to rope drop your family’s favorite attraction. We might have found a new breakfast option that might be a newfound favorite.

Pistachio Croissant

We headed to Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom to check out a croissant that sounded weirdly familiar to us.

Disney tried to pull a fast one on us, but say hello to the Pistachio Croissant for $6.49 that we think used to be called the Honey Pistachio Croissant. Since there are no descriptions listed, it tasted similar, so we think it just got a new name.

Pistachio Croissant

From a quick glance, we were worried it was going to be dry, but once we pulled it apart, we realized we were so wrong. While the edges were a little dry, we were able to easily pullit apart and bite through it easily. It was light and fluffy on the inside and a really great croissant.

Look at that icing

The flavors really took it to the next level! The honey butter on the inside was delicious and made the croissant buttery with hints of sweetness mixed in. There was a pistachio icing on top that brought in the pistachio flavor and even had pieces inside to add some crunch and a more nutty flavor. There were tons of frosting, and we think this is a great breakfast option to add to your day at Animal Kingdom.

A solid choice!
