Between food, Lightning Lanes, merchandise, and other things, money can go so fast when you’re at Disney World!

We get that the day can be expensive, but Disney World might be a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, and you have to get SOME souvenirs — you just have to! So the question is, what is worth buying out of all your options? These are the 7 things that might feel a little cheesy to buy, but we think that you should still do it!
Disney T-Shirts
You can never go wrong with a classic Disney T-Shirt! Whether you’re looking for a cheesy Disney shirt to wear around the park or a piece of memorabilia to remember your trip, we’re always eyeing the Disney shirts at the beginning and end of our Disney day.
Emporium at Magic Kingdom
Yes, they might have some corny lines or images, but that’s the fun of it! Grab a shirt with your favorite Disney character on it, maybe you want one to remember your “2026 Family Disney Trip”, or maybe you’re looking for one with the classic “Walt Disney World” logo on it. Trust us, this is a GREAT go-to souvenir.
Pins
We will advise you that once you get sucked into buying Disney Pins, you’re trapped, and you’ll never stop wanting more! There’s a reason for that — it’s because they’re just so dang fun. You’ve probably seen many Disney goers walking around with their Disney pins on their backpacks or lanyards.

We get it’s a little cheesy, but it wouldn’t make our list if it wasn’t. They’re not just fun because they’re collectible items. They’re also fun because you can trade with Cast Members around Disney World. We’ll warn you one more time, once you start, you won’t want to stop.
Resort Refillable Mugs
They’re called Rapid Fill Mugs, but every Disney goer calls them Refillable Mugs. It’s an insulated plastic coffee mug with a lid. These can be refilled at Disney Resorts, and while they definitely scream “I’m on vacation,” we love the practicality of these even from the comfort of your home.

It might seem a little cheesy to carry around a refillable mug with characters all over it, but there’s something about sipping out of this at home that just takes you back to your Disney vacay.
Embroidered Mickey Ear Hats
One of the only custom souvenirs you can get at Disney World — it’s the embroidered ear hat at Disney World! You can get them over at Curtain Call Collectibles in Magic Kingdom to get your ear hat personalized with a fun message or name.

Cheesy as they look, they’re perfect souvenirs for milestone moments like a 1st birthday, baby announcement, engagement, or others. It’s also cute to display at home to celebrate that memory.
Minnie Ears
Ah, the classic! Minnie Ears are probably THE most iconic thing you can get at Disney World — they’re a classic. Outside of Disney parks, wearing mouse ears would feel a little silly, we get it. However, that does not exist in the parks! They are VERY popular!

What we love about these is that you can find a pair for your favorite ride, movie, or character. If you are returning to the Disney parks again, this is a double thumbs up to buy, because then you can wear them again!
Magic Shot Photos
We promise that Magic Shots only seem cheesy until you’ve got the photo propped up in your house as a memory. PhotoPass photographers use Magic Shots to add something fun to your photos using Disney Characters or holiday theming!

Once you take your picture, you can purchase photos individually, or you can purchase Memory Maker — which will include all PhotoPass photos you have taken on vacation.
Year Ornaments
Christmas ornaments are the perfect go-to souvenir on any vacation. They’re a small souvenir you keep as a memory, which you then use to decorate your Christmas tree with memories. When it comes to Disney World, the Christmas ornaments with the year on them are great for capturing your trip that year. If the ones with the year on them aren’t for you, you can get an ornament that you like and get it customized with the year on it.

So don’t feel silly about buying “cheesy” souvenirs, if they make you happy, that’s all that matters! It’s your Disney vacation, and you should enjoy it the way you want to. For more Disney World tips and tricks, be sure to follow us at AllEars.
