A NEW Character Meet-and-Greet Is Coming to Epic Universe

You want to hear something wild? Universal’s Epic Universe is celebrating its first anniversary this weekend!

Epic Universe opened on May 22nd last year, which means it’s now been open for a full year. What does Universal have in store for the huge celebration? Well, Epic Universe is bringing out a new friend to the park to meet with guests.

Universal Orlando Resort took to social media to announce that the “marshmallow stars have aligned” as Captain Cacao is on his way and is ready to meet you at Universal Epic Universe!

Captain Cacao is a dark chocolate teddy bear navigator associated with Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets — a sweets shop you’ll find in Celestial Park. He’s had merchandise at the park, but Epic Universe has never had him as a meet-and-greet character.

The new meet-and-greet with Captain Cacao will officially take place in Celestial Park starting May 22nd. Check out the video that Universal posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

If you want to go to Epic Universe this summer to celebrate the anniversary and say hi to the new character, you need to check out the brand-new ticket deal that gives you five park days for the price of three!

You can get five whole days at either Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, or Universal Epic Universe, for the price of a three-day base or park-to-park ticket.

It’s a pretty sweet deal, and it allows you to check out all the parks. Not only are you going to want to be at Epic Universe for the anniversary, but it’s a big summer at Universal Studios Florida as well, with Mega Movie Summer running from May 23rd through August 23rd. The event is going to bring new limited-time merchandise, treats, entertainment, experiences, and more!
