We get it — a Disney World trip can be a little pricey, but if you know what you’re doing, you can visit Disney World on a budget and keep those prices down as much as possible.

That’s why we do our best to make sure you have all the latest information on Disney World deals and discounts, but we also want to help you out when it comes to knowing WHEN to plan your trip — because that, too, can help you save money.
That’s right, you can save money by traveling to Disney World on specific dates. So we’re going to let you know the CHEAPEST dates to travel to the resort, based on the price of park tickets.

Now, we understand there are other expenses to worry about when booking a Disney World trip, but in general, park tickets are at their lowest pretty much at the same time when you’ll also see lower hotel rates and Genie+ prices.
So let’s take a look at the cheapest dates we found in 2024.
August 2024
Here’s the thing — if you’re wanting to visit Disney World in 2024, the cheapest days are NOT in the first half of the year. Instead, we saw the cheapest ticket prices in August and September. Even more importantly, some of these dates have lower ticket prices than those we’re seeing for 2023.

Here’s how those cheapest tickets break down.
- August 20th — $109 ($134 in 2023)
- August 21st —$109 ($134 in 2023)
- August 22nd — $109
- August 23rd — $109
- August 26th — $109 ($134 in 2023)
- August 27th — $109 ($134 in 2023)
- August 28th — $109 ($134 in 2023)
- August 29th — $109

September 2024
Another great month to spend LESS in Disney World is in September 2024. Again, we’re seeing cheaper tickets at this time of year in 2024 than we’re seeing for 2023.

Here’s a breakdown of those prices:
- September 3rd — $109 ($144 in 2023)
- September 4th — $109 ($144 in 2023)
- September 5th– $109
- September 10th — $109 ($134 in 2023)
- September 11th — $109 ($129 in 2023)
- September 12th — $109
- September 16th — $109 ($144 in 2023)
- September 17th — $109 ($139 in 2023)
- September 18th — $109
- September 19th — $109
- September 24th — $109 ($139 in 2023)
- September 25th — $109 ($139 in 2023)
- September 26th – $109

So the best budget-conscious time to visit Disney World in 2024 looks to be in August and September. Remember, that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins in August, and add those tickets to your budget, too, if it’s a priority.
