There are PLENTY of reasons your next Disney World trip might not be like your last.

Whether it’s because of a new festival like the Festival of the Arts happening in EPCOT right now, a new attraction, or another exciting event — you might want to write some of these important dates down if you’re heading to Disney World in February!
February 1st: Celebrate Soulfully
Get ready to celebrate and honor all things Black History Moth throughout Disney World during February! It all kicks off on the first — with special entertainment, merchandise, and of course — FOOD!

Last year, we also saw some exclusive artist appearances along with other fun activities and shows to experience in the parks.

February 6th: Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training
While this may not be something that will affect your Disney World trip directly, it might be worth keeping in the back of your mind — the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball team will begin Spring Training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this month.

The Rays’ normal training facility was damaged during Hurricane Ian, so they’ll be heading to Disney World instead.

February 14th: Valentine’s Day
Cupid is hiding right around the corner — and he might even visit Disney World! In the past, we’ve seen a TON of special treats come out for this holiday, but so far this year we haven’t heard anything official.

A Magic Kingdom meet and greet is returning — Enchanted Tales with Belle will come back to Fantasyland on February 19th. Guests will travel into Maurice and Belle’s cottage and be walk through an enchanted mirror to hear the tale as old as time.

Plus, Ariel has officially returned to her Grotto in Fantasyland as well!

February 23rd to 26th: 2023 Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon
On your marks, get set, GO! The 2023 Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place at the end of the month — so if you’re not personally participating, expect to see some extra crowds and runners around!

We got to check out a preview of the new medals for this year’s race, and they look pretty awesome!

February 28th: Characters Return to Cinderella’s Royal Table
Speaking of Disney Princesses, they’ll be returning to a character meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table on February 28th. This experience has been modified since the reopening of the Disney World parks, but that’s all changing soon!

In the past Princesses switched out from time to time but we typically saw Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine, and Aurora along with Cinderella.
