But before you head out that door, make sure you know exactly which rides, attractions, and shows will be temporarily CLOSED in Disney World. Armed with this information, you can avoid unpleasant surprises during your trip. Here’s a complete list of the temporary closures in Disney World from November 13th through the 19th.
Magic Kingdom Closures
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad usually circles Magic Kingdom with various stops throughout the park. It’s been closed for a long time now (we’re talking multiple years), and it still doesn’t have a reopening date.

Disney has dropped some hints that the attraction could reopen soon, such as a video showing the trains being tested! And many of the railroad tracks that were removed for construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run have now been replaced.

We’ll be watching for more news about the Railroad’s reopening.
Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
Over in Tomorrowland, the gift shop at the exit of Space Mountain (Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.) is closed for refurbishments.

The shop looks pretty empty inside from what we can see, and Disney hasn’t announced when this store is going to reopen.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Enchanted Tales With Belle is a character meet-and-greet attraction where guests could previously help Belle tell the story of Beauty and the Beast. Although Belle can sometimes be found nearby, greeting guests, the full attraction has not yet reopened.

Disney hasn’t announced when it will return.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
Pete’s Silly Sideshow is a character meet-and-greet spot with Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy. They’re wearing their circus performer outfits here! This spot has been closed for a while now, and Disney hasn’t given a specific reopening date for it yet.

We have heard that this location is supposed to reopen sometime “in the coming months,” so we’ll be watching carefully for more news.
Meet Ariel at Her Grotto
The last closure for Magic Kingdom is Ariel’s Grotto. This is another character meet-and-greet location, where guests can chat with Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

Disney hasn’t announced when this meet-and-greet will return, but the nearby attraction Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid is still open.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closures
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Another Little Mermaid-themed attraction is also closed, this one in Hollywood Studios. The Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show has been closed for a long time now.

Disney hasn’t announced if or when the show will reopen.
Check out the holiday decor at Hollywood Studios.
EPCOT Closures
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
If you visit the CircleVision 360 theater in World Showcase’s Canada pavilion right now, you won’t find a movie about Canada’s natural beauty. Instead, you’ll find the Appleseed Orchard booth for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!

This festival ends on November 19th, so we’re expecting Canada Far & Wide to resume playing after that date.
Cool Wash
Cool Wash has been through a few different transformations over the years. This little kiosk has been a snack stand serving up frozen drinks as well as an empty space for seating.

Now, it looks like there’s another change coming. A new sign over the kiosk says “Refreshment Station” instead of “Cool Wash.” Could that mean it’s going to reopen soon with some new snacks? We’ll be watching to find out!
The American Adventure Pavilion
Back in World Showcase, another show that’s closed right now is the American Adventure show.

Disney hasn’t announced when this show will return.

Disney Water Park Refurbishments
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopened on November 13th, and right before that, Disney’s World’s OTHER water park — Typhoon Lagoon — closed for its own set of refurbishments.

Disney hasn’t announced yet when Typhoon Lagoon will reopen.
