There are so many amazing rides in Disney World!
It seems like every new Disney World ride just gets bigger and better, and we can’t wait to see what Disney will do next! The newest Disney World ride is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which opened in EPCOT this May. It’s a super fun thrill ride featuring an all new ride system called the omnicoaster, and Disney’s first reverse launch. This ride is amazing, but is it THE BEST?
Now that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been open for a few months, we had to ask:

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the Best Ride in Disney World
An overwhelming amount of you said yes! Cosmic Rewind is such a unique and fun ride, and even got a whole new pavilion around it in EPCOT. The ride itself is super intense, and it’s also the only Marvel-themed Disney ride you’ll find on the east coast!
A lot of Disney fans are already putting this new coaster at the top of their list, but some of them are still loyal to other rides, so let’s take a look at the rides that still compare to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
Rise of the Resistance
Many fans said that Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was still their favorite! This ride has some of Disney’s best immersion, and truly transports guests into the world of Star Wars! It has a super unique ride system that includes trackless vehicles and a drop, making it a great balance between storytelling and a thrill ride.
If you’ve ridden Rise of the Resistance, you’ll know that it’s a one of a kind experience, and a worthy contender for the best ride at Disney World!

Flight of Passage
A lot of you also said Flight of Passage is still your favorite! The flight simulator ride in Animal Kingdom takes you flying through Pandora on the back of a banshee for a truly indescribable experience.
What makes this ride so special is how real the simulation feels! From the feeling of the banshee breathing in the seats to the Pandora smell we wished our whole houses smelled like, we truly feel like we’re on another planet!

Thrill ride, must be 44 inches or taller Long waits (2-3 hours) are the norm!
Living with the Land
Another ride that our Facebook readers showed a lot of love to Living with the Land in EPCOT! This is one of the most relaxing rides on Disney property, so if you didn’t like how intense Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is, this might be the ride for you!
We love seeing Living with the Land getting the love it deserves! This ride is quintessential EPCOT, and we love how much love you all have for it!

Another one of our readers mentioned that the upcoming TRON: Lightcycle Run ride in Magic Kingdom could give Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind a run for its money when it opens. I prefer Avatar Flight of Passage or Rise of the Resistance. Guardians was a little too intense for me, but others in our group really liked it.
