If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World during the pandemic, there are several things that have changed, including the addition of the Disney Park Pass system.
In order to visit a theme park, you now have to make a reservation for each person with a ticket. We’ve seen these reservations get booked up fast recently, thanks to Spring Break crowds, but this morning more options opened up! If you’re traveling soon, then you better book quickly!
More Disney Park Passes are now available for the next few weeks, including the time that many guests will be visiting the parks for Spring Break! Guests with theme park tickets can now book Animal Kingdom and EPCOT on select days throughout the rest of March.
For Disney Resort guests, availability looks pretty similar in March. At this time, no passes are available any days for Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, but we encourage you to keep trying if that’s what you’re looking for.
For Annual Passholders, there are more options, but that is likely due to the fact that Gold and Silver passes have blockout dates starting this weekend.
Looking into April, Animal Kingdom and EPCOT are the only choices open during the first part of the month for ticket holders, but there are still a few days with open availability in the last two weeks.
The same is true for Disney Resort guests, the availability is almost identical between the two categories.
Annual Passholders don’t have much to worry about in April, except for a few weekend dates. There are still several “green” days, even after the blockout dates are lifted.

Opening more Park Passes sounds like a good thing until one realizes how many guests are now standing in long lines for extended periods. Guests will not be having “A Magical Experience” if they accomplish nothing but standing in line.
