Disney Vacation Club Members get to enjoy quite a few extra perks, like advanced dining reservations, pool-hopping privileges, and discounts.
And, DVC members can escape the crowds on busy days in the park and hang out in exclusive lounge areas. These can be great places to find air conditioning on sweltering days, charge their devices, or grab a complimentary soda. From time to time, Disney adds or closes lounges, and we have an update on the DVC lounge at EPCOT!
The Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge at EPCOT opened back in 2016 and is located in the Imagination! Pavilion. It was originally advertised to only be open through the end of 2020, but its stay has been extended!
The lounge will now remain open through 2021 as a complementary space for DVC members to relax and unwind during their day at Disney. The lounge is currently open from 12PM-7PM daily. Starting January 31st, the lounge will be open 11AM-6PM daily. We’ll keep you updated with the latest when it comes to this lounge and everything else at Walt Disney World!

So after that it will close is the assumption. I guess if you are taking away the perks, why leave a few stragglers? Clean the slate totally. The next thing we will lose is the restaurant and store discounts. Funny how each week it’s one more thing. I guess we DVC members have come to expect too much. I’ll remember to genuflect at Walt’s statue when I visit the MK.
