PHOTOS: EPCOT’s Harmonious Will Feature a Daytime Look, Plus TONS More Details on the Upcoming Nighttime Show!

Here at AllEars, we are hyped about the EPCOT transformation!

We’re ready to dine at Space 220, to blast off on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and to scurry through Gusteau’s kitchen on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! We’ve been receiving a lot of updates on Disney’s projects recently, and today we got an update on the all-new nighttime spectacular coming to EPCOT!

As part of D23’s Fantastic Worlds Celebration, a presentation was shared titled “EPCOT — The Magic of Possibility”. As part of the presentation, the Vice President of EPCOT, Melissa Valiquette, and Imagineer Zach Riddley shared lots of details on upcoming projects for the transformation of EPCOT. One of those major projects is the new nighttime spectacular, HarmonioUS!

This will be a “grand original spectacular, unique to EPCOT with its message of global connection.” Five floating platforms positioned like a compass will house the primary show equipment. The central piece will be six stories tall, and there will be eight 54-foot long moving arms!

The first of these moving platforms will be headed to World Showcase Lagoon to be tested very soon, and the platforms themselves will have an “ambient daytime look” showcased in the concept art below. The water features will definitely make this show equipment look much nicer than it normally would during the day!
