Those who have ridden Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios understand the emotionally taxing experience of grabbing a Boarding Group. This virtual queue system is still a required component of being able to access the attraction, and Boarding Groups fill up in a FLASH.
Now, the process is even EASIER, thanks to a new update in the Boarding Group process.
Before, you needed to either manually select every guest in your travel party that you wanted to ride with you, or for slightly less tapping, you could manually select “All.”
We were able to confirm with a Cast Member today that your eligible family and friends will now be AUTO-selected! An eligible friend or family would include anyone who is already scanned into Hollywood Studios and is linked to your account.
Shaving those couple of seconds off from manually selecting everyone could make a huge difference when grabbing those coveted Boarding Groups!

We leave for Disney in 1 week…yay! This is great news as there are 5 people in our party! We will only have 1 day at Hollywood Studios so I have been stressing after seeing how fast the boarding passes have been going. Hopefully this will allow us to snag a boarding pass with ease!

Does anybody know what time the skyliner starts running right now? We are staying at Pop Century & I cannot find current transportation operating hours anywhere! Also, if anyone knows monorail & bus operating hours that would be very helpful! We have early morning breakfast at Kona Cafe & I cannot find bus or monorail operating hours. It’s hard to plan transportation when you can’t find operating hours. Does anyone if the breakfast buses are currently running? If anyone can post this information, I would greatly appreciate it!!
