NEWS: Disney World Delays Expiration of Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets

We recently discovered Walt Disney World Resort is no longer accepting hotel reservations until July 1st.

And, in light of the theme parks being closed for almost two months with no re-opening date announced, Disney World modified its policy regarding Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets.

When the closure was initially announced, Disney stated the Discover Disney tickets would be eligible until July 31st, 2020. But the website has been updated to reflect the new expiration date.

Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets will now be eligible for use until September 30, 2020.

This update did not affect the other theme park tickets, so we will keep you posted if these dates are changed as well!

  1. I could not use my ticket until September 30
I was afraid of corona virus. Any chance you can extend until December 2020?
    Thank you

  2. WOW, they extended use by for FL Discovery tickets to Set. 30 of 2020. BUT our prepaid tickets for June 1 – 3 should be refunded. We paid back in January and booked hotel stay (prepaid) then as well. With my sons loss of wages in these last weeks we would be lucky to afford this trip before July of 2021!
