NEWS: Reservations No Longer Available for Most Disney World Dining and Special Events Through June

The world is waiting anxiously for news about the Disney Parks closures amidst the current global health crisis. Disney World recently announced that Disney Springs would begin to reopen on May 20, 2020.

Disney also stopped accepting reservations for dates prior to July 1, 2020 this week for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

As of early this morning, Disney is also no longer accepting reservations for a wide range of dining, special events, and other experiences through the end of June.

When trying to make a dining reservation on June dates, only Disney Springs locations are available.

Note: only a few Disney Springs reservations have confirmed their opening dates at this time.

If you scroll down, you’ll find that all in-park and resort dining is unavailable.

However, as of July 1, a wide range of dining at Disney Springs as well as the parks & resorts is available.

Additionally, when booking reservations for the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop merchandise experiences in Galaxy’s Edge, both calendars show no availability for June.

Once again, dates are available in July.

We also searched for specialty dining experiences, such as fireworks dessert parties at each park, and were unable to book any reservations in June.

Additionally, on Disney’s Villains After Hours page, all dates listed through June now show as “no longer available.”

It’s important to note that Disney has yet to announce an official re-open date for the domestic parks, and all theme parks and resorts on both coasts are currently closed “until further notice.”

  1. If our June 22-27 trip gets cancelled it will be the third Disney world trip ive had to plan this year that didn’t happen. Planning to take our kids for their graduation trip (2 HS seniors and 1 8th grader). I understand but all the work with the airline, time on phone with Disney, and all the FP+ and ADR planning is going to make me lose my mind. If they are going to cancel I wish they would just tell us now. By the time we end up trying to replan a trip for later this year, it’s going to be tough to get ADRs. I wish they would just say book new dates and your FP and ADR will map over to the new dates.

  2. My daughter has a trip June 2-16 and they have not been canceled. All her reservations are still there and her fast passes.

  3. I have a June DisneyWorld vacation booked. They haven’t cancelled me yet. I did try to make an additional dining reservation and it said no availability, but it is still letting me make Fastpass choices. Anyone else have a June Vacation package?

    1. Yes, I have a June 16th reservation with no cancellations yet. I have dining and fast passes for everyday

  4. If Disney World does open on July 1, do you think that Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop will be one of the ones that remain closed? I have never been to either, so I did not know if the spacing inside was too narrow to allow for social distancing.
