Not worth the wait and the long queue system needed to get you to the ride. Just your typical spinner ride with uncomfortable seats.
Pros:
Decent photo opportunityCons:
A one and avoid. Shocked nothing has been done with this ride.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/31/2021

Simple up and down ride like Dumbo that is based on space. People have to get up to the boarding area via elevators which can’t hold as many people and can stack up a bunch of crowds. Usually has a longer wait than Dumbo.
Pros:
Good view of Tomorrowland, Good for kidsCons:
Long waits, Magic Kingdom has two other similar ridesReviewed by Christina08 Review Date: 07/20/2021

Good for kids who enjoy space themed rides. Definitely not a must do if looking for thrills.
Pros:
Easy rideCons:
Short ride timeReviewed by ThankThePhoeniciansInTheLaughingPlace Review Date: 06/14/2021

Although many people think of it as cool because of its height and elevator ride, this ride is not worth its wait. The ships are not the most comfortable vehicles to sit in, especially if you are riding with another person. Definitely not a must do in the Magic Kingdom.
Pros:
The Height of the rideCons:
Not worth the wait.Reviewed by Amandalorian Review Date: 05/27/2021

We drives to take a chance on this ride because the posted wait time was short (We are talking like 5-10 minutes) and it was one we’ve never done. Apparently there were loading issues or something but with physical distancing and only two elevators going up and down, the wait was probably more like 45-50 minutes... for a ride that spins around 6 times. That being said, we were there at sunset and the views of the park were amazing.
Pros:
The views of the park are amazing... especially at sunset and it’s a ride for most family membersCons:
Long wait for a crazy short rideReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/08/2021

This ride isn’t as good as dumbo and it’s a horrible wait with the elevators. And the view isn’t as good as I was expecting.
Pros:
Taller then dumboCons:
Long wait and bumpyReviewed by nicoletighe Review Date: 03/24/2021

This is like Dumbo with Space Mountain theming. I never cared for this ride and still don't ride it when I go to Disney World. I don't mind heights as I love thrill rides, but this is a complete waste of a long line.
Pros:
Views of Main Street USACons:
Long line for no reason, the elevator, copy of Dumbo, boring and not thrillingReviewed by TEnglish4774 Review Date: 03/16/2021

Astro Orbiter is a perennial skip, There are two other attractions in the MK that are the same ride that have better theming and storytelling
Pros:
The views of tomorrowland are good.Cons:
The queue is one of the worst on property, it snakes its way around tomorrowland and you have to take an elevator to get to the landing platform. If it is hot you get to stuffed into an elevator with other people and their BO (during non pandemic times). The ride itself is not very long or very thrilling. The storytelling is extremely lacking that Disney touch we all know and love so well.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 02/28/2021

The elevator is hot and takes forever to get on. The ride itself makes me a little nauseos compared to dumbo or Aladdin, probably because of the height of the ride. Its actually pretty scary!!
