We are less than one month away from the reopening of a popular Disney World restaurant!

1900 Park Fare closed in 2020 and has yet to open its doors again. We’ve waited this long for this fun character buffet, we can wait a few more weeks (maybe). But this restaurant isn’t all that will remain closed this coming week; find out what else will be closed in Disney World!
1900 Park Fare
Disney has announced that the 1900 Park Fare restaurant at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa will REOPEN on April 10th! While that’s still a few weeks away, we are getting closer.

What else will be closed during your Disney World trip the week of March 17th through the 23rd? Let’s take a look!
Magic Kingdom
Country Bear Jamboree
Country Bear Jamboree is currently being reimagined in Magic Kingdom! The show closed on January 27th and should reopen with the new, updated show sometime this summer.
If you want to celebrate this attraction, check out this Collectible Plush Set on Amazon!

The set features three Country Bears: Teddi Barra, Big Al, and Henry.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Splash Mountain closed on January 23rd, 2023, and it’ll remain closed until the summer of 2024.

Disney is re-theming the ride to give it a Princess and the Frog theme. When it reopens, it’ll be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
A new event is coming that will give an exclusive look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Barrel Bridge at Tom Sawyer Island
Over on Tom Sawyer Island, the barrel bridge is currently closed. In fact, it’s missing completely!

A Cast Member told us that the bridge had been removed for refurbishments, and they’re not sure when it might be back. The bridge disappeared several months ago, but we’re still hoping that it might be back soon! We’ll be sure to let you know about any updates.
Tomorrowland Terrace
Tomorrowland Terrace in Magic Kingdom has only ever been open occasionally, usually during particularly busy seasons. However, it’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen this spot open.

Currently, it’s only used for Magic Kingdom dessert parties.
This is the new t-shirt Disney dads will be wearing to Magic Kingdom!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios closed on January 8th and will remain closed for a pretty long time. The ride is expected to reopen in the summer of this year, which means the refurbishment will last at least a few more months.

We don’t have an exact reopening date yet, but we’ll keep you updated when we learn more!
Why Hollywood Studios is SOLD OUT on a random Saturday in May
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid as we know it will NOT return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s closed now, and Disney has confirmed that this show has permanently closed to make way for an updated version.

“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure”, an all-new stage show, will replace the show in the Animation Courtyard theater in Fall 2024.
5 non-negotiable meals in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
EPCOT
Restaurant Marrakesh
Restaurant Marrakesh is kind of closed and kind of not.

The restaurant is technically open, but just as a lounge (not as an actual restaurant). We’re still waiting for the full experience to return!
4 must-have souvenirs from the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT
Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon was closed for several months, but it finally opened on March 17th! Woo hoo!

However, on that same day (March 17th) Blizzard Beach closed for refurbishments. Since it just closed, we do not know when it will reopen again, but typically the two water parks will flip-flop being open.

We’ll be watching for news of its reopening, but for now, head over to Typhoon Lagoon!
Other Disney World Hotel Closures
Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
The Fuentes del Morro pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will continue to be closed until late March 2024.

You may see or hear construction during this pool’s refurbishment. If you want to go swimming, you can head to any of the other leisure pools at Caribbean Beach Resort.
Those are all of the closures for Disney World this week! Stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest news from Disney World.
