A Popular Toy Story Land Ride Is CLOSED in Disney World

We’re getting into the busiest season of the year at Disney World, and there’s a LOT happening in the parks these days!

We’ve got holiday snacks at all four parks, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays going on, and we’ve even seen Disney start to prepare for 2023 with the arrival of the Disney100 merchandise collection. But amid all that excitement, we noticed that one ride was having some issues today!

Over in Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania was closed down due to technical difficulties. We spoke to a Cast Member nearby and were told that they didn’t know when it would come back up, but to check the My Disney Experience app’s wait times page for any news.

Oddly enough, this isn’t one of the Hollywood Studios rides that we see close down very often. (Not nearly as common as Rise of the Resistance or Tower of Terror.) So, it just goes to show that pretty much every ride has a rough day now and then.

If you encounter this situation during your trip, the best thing to do is keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to see when it comes back up. As we mentioned above, the list of wait times in the app will show if a ride is temporarily closed. Occasionally rides will be closed all day, but most of the time, they’re back up within a few hours.
