Darth Vader Meet and Greet Coming BACK to Disney World

Although many traditional character meet and greets have returned to Disney World, some are still missing.

Star Wars Launch Bay is reopening with characters!

However, the parks are slowly adding these meet and greets back into the parks, most recently with Mickey and Minnie at Adventurer’s Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, though, some Star Wars characters will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Today, Disney announced that Star Wars Launch Bay would be bringing back meet and greets with some of its popular characters.

So you’ll soon be able to hug Chewbacca again, say hello to BB-8, and come face-to-face with Darth Vader (if you dare).

So when will you be able to meet these characters again? The answer is SOON! Star Wars Launch Bay will resume character meet and greets on July 17th. How exciting!

You can also meet many of your favorite characters at character dining experiences — we’ve got a full list of those that have returned back to “normal” here. If you’re interested in those, you will need to make advance dining reservations as these restaurants fill up fast!
