ANOTHER Mickey & Minnie Meet-and-Greet Returns in Disney World!

While a lot of Disney World has returned to “normal,” there are still some spots that have remained closed.

Despite many character meet-and-greets now available, Adventurer’s Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom was one spot that stayed closed. But today we have a BIG update!

We recently learned that Adventurer’s Outpost was scheduled to reopen on June 19th, 2022, so imagine our surprise to find it open today! The Lightning Lane was not yet open, but the standby line was only 15 minutes.

The queue is brightly colored in yellow, green, and purple, and the walls are covered with fun pictures of Mickey and Minnie’s past adventures!

In this meet-and-greet spot, you can meet Mickey and Minnie in their safari costumes! Aren’t they adorable?!

They were ready to go on an adventure when we visited them! Check them out in our video below.

Although the Lightning Lane was not yet open, it’s still scheduled to open on June 19th on Disney’s website, so we’ll be watching out to see if the Lightning Lane opens sooner. This will allow anyone who purchases Genie+ to option to reserve the Lightning Lane for this meet-and-greet.

It’s possible that Adventurer’s Outpost is now officially open but it might not have consistent open hours until June 19th, so your mileage may vary until then. According to Disney’s website, Adventurer’s Outpost does not officially open until June 19th from 8AM to 6:30PM. We’ll be watching closely for more updates!
