Why Every Disney Adult Will Want to Be in EPCOT on September 21st

Heads up Guardians of the Galaxy fans — an important date is coming, and EPCOT’s looking to celebrate in the best way they know how!

We LOVE IT when Disney World gives the fans more of what they’re craving and we may have done it again! With the upcoming installments of more villains, popular Pixar character attractions, and whole rethemes of lands that are going extinct, it seems we have one brief change that EPCOT fans have been begging for that only holds its highest significance one day all year long!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is arguably one of the most thrilling rides in all of Disney World and we each seem to have our own quips about it that we love. One of the highlights of riding this attraction is the surprise song you rock out to on your journey helping the Guardians jump back in time and save the universe via jump points Rocket Raccoon has programmed into your escape pod (ride vehicle) route.

While we love the song roulette that we get to play each time we hop into the line, there’s a popular song for the attraction with a very important upcoming date, and Disney World’s ready to give the fans what they’re asking for!

Disney World recently teased that on September 21st we’ll all be “chasin’ the clouds away” bopping along to this song’s solo rendition ALL DAY LONG! “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire has been a staple (and for some an elusive song selection) since the ride debuted in EPCOT. It seems fitting that Disney World’s willing to crank up the beat and keep the party bumping throughout the day so everyone will get a chance to enjoy jamming along to this disco tune.

We think this is a pretty genius move from Disney World and we think it will be a hit with visitors looking to take a spin on the spinning coaster attraction.
