Good news — you can now book 2024 vacation packages for Disney World!

Happy? Great, because we’ve also got some bad news. Ticket prices went up throughout much of the year compared to 2023. They decreased here and there too, but if you’re thinking about planning a trip for next year — there’s one month you might want to avoid.
Bookings are officially open for 2024 Disney World ticket and hotel packages (and the Dining Plan)! But, the price of Disney World park tickets has increased throughout much of the year. The base or starting price of 1 to 10-day tickets has remained the same, but it’s important to keep in mind that the ticket price per day can vary based on the park and time of year you choose.

When Disney World introduced date- and park-based pricing back in December 2022, ticket prices for each park looked like this:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $109-$159
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $124-$179
- EPCOT: $114-$179
- Magic Kingdom: $124-$189

Pricing for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom has remained the same, with the high end of single-day ticket pricing at $179 and $189, respectively. Where there has been an increase, though, is on single-day tickets for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
You’ll find yourself spending up to $184 at Hollywood Studios, and $164 at Animal Kingdom.

Based on this, we did a little searching to find out where you might have to dish out more for your tickets — and we found something pretty dang interesting. In March 2024, base ticket prices went up every single day. Here’s a look at prices in March 2023.
Starting ticket prices ranged from $144+ to $154+ in March 2023…

…but they’ve gone up for 2024. You’ll be paying anywhere from $154+ to $164+ to visit Disney World in March.

This certainly isn’t the only place we’ve seen price increases on tickets in 2024, but it looks like March is the only month where the base ticket price went up every single day. Of course, we’re not privy to the method behind the madness when it comes to how Disney determines pricing, so it’s unclear as to why this month, in particular, saw so many increases.

We did see some serious crowd levels and wait times in Disney World throughout March 2023, thanks much in part to the spring break season. It’s possible that Disney saw how busy the parks were this year and decided to adjust accordingly.
Ultimately, how much your Disney World tickets cost depends on which parks you choose and when you decide to visit. You can use this information and the Disney World ticket calendar to plan for a cheaper trip if you have a little flexibility!
