BOOK NOW! 2024 Disney World Vacation Reservations Are Available

On your mark, get set, BOOK! Disney has hit a huge moment ahead of 2024 and it’s one you NEED to know about.

2024 will hold some exciting moments for Disney World, including the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom, Genie+ changes, Park Pass reservation adjustments, the return of the Disney Dining Plan, and more. But if you want to secure your 2024 Disney World trip, NOW is the time to act.

On May 31st, 2023, Disney World vacation bookings for 2024 dates officially became available. That’s right, the time to get booking is right now folks!

What can you book right now for 2024 trip dates? Well, you can book theme park tickets, hotel reservations, and full vacation packages.

But perhaps even more importantly, you can book the Disney Dining Plan for those vacations that fall on January 9th, 2024, and later. Click here to see Dining Plan pricing for 2024.

You might be thinking “2024 is far away — why should I book now?” Good question. Lots of things can change over the next few months — ticket prices could increase, hotel costs could go up, rooms could fill up, and that vacation package that was once totally in your budget might suddenly cost more than you expected.

The best way to secure your vacation at the current price, and make sure you get the room you want at the hotel you’re hoping to stay at is to book your trip ASAP.

So what are you waiting for? It’s time to get booking! We expect that a LOT of folks will be trying to get to the phones and Disney World website today to book their trips (especially with the return of the Dining Plan in 2024) so you may experience some technical issues and long wait times when you try to book.

When we first tried to make a booking early this morning (around 6AM ET), we were placed in a waiting room with no indication of how long the wait would be.

Eventually, our wait time did change. Some members of our team saw their wait times drop quickly, while others were “stuck” at 20 or 30-minute wait times for a while. For some, the wait time dropped at one point, only to suddenly go up. Some members of our team were ultimately able to get through to the booking system, while others were left waiting.

At 7:20AM ET, we received a message indicating that online bookings had been PAUSED and would resume as soon as possible.

By 7:38AM ET, bookings were paused online and over the phone.

If you experience any delays, keep trying. You may need to call Disney multiple times, try visiting their website from various browsers, or just stay on hold/in the waiting room for a while until you’re able to get through. So grab a snack and some patience!
