PRICING REVEALED for the Disney Dining Plan

EVERYONE REMAIN CALM! It’s finally happening.

Breakfast, anyone?

Well, kind of. The Disney Dining Plan is coming back in 2024 and booking is officially open for trips after January 9th! We’ve shared as many details as we possibly could, but there was just one detail missing — until now. It’s time to check out the pricing for the Disney Dining Plan!

Disney has shared that the Quick Service Dining Plan will cost  $57.01 per adult, per day and $23.83 per child (ages 3 to 9) per day.

And, the standard Disney Dining Plan will cost  $94.28 per adult, per day and $29.69 per child (ages 3 to 9) per day.

As expected, these prices have increased since 2020 — here are the previous prices listed below:

  • Quick Service Disney Dining Plan 2020 Prices: $55 per adult, per day; $26 per child (ages 3-9), per day
  • Standard Disney Dining Plan 2020 Prices: $78.01 per adult, per day; $30.51 per child (ages 3-9), per day

This means that prices slightly increased for adults with the Quick Service plan, but saw a HUGE increase for the Standard plan. Kids prices went down, however there is one less snack credit than before.

It’s also possible that the kids prices decreased due to this savings note on the Disney World website. It says, “You can save up to 20% on dining for kids ages 3 to 9 when you purchase a dining plan for your family as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company package.”

Now that we’ve gone over the pricing, let’s go over the basics. With the Disney Dining Plan, guests have the option to pay for their meals in advance by purchasing a plan that includes a certain number of dining credits (which depend on the type of plan and the number of days of the trip). These dining credits can then be redeemed throughout the parks at select snack, Quick Service, and Table Service locations.

Disney has announced that there will be a Quick Service Dining Plan and a Standard Dining Plan. Keep in mind, in order to qualify, you must be staying at a Disney-owned-and-operated hotel and have purchased at least one ticket per person.

Quick Service Disney Dining Plan

The Quick Service Dining Plan is an option for those looking to enjoy casual meals on the go during their trip. Everyone in your party ages 3 and up will get the following on the Quick Service plan:

  • 2 Quick-Service Meals Per Night of Stay
  • 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Mug
Capt. Cook’s Spread

Disney Dining Plan

For those looking to enjoy some sit-down meals during their vacation, the Standard Disney Dining Plan offers a few more options. This plan is similar but also includes some credits for Table Service restaurants. With this plan, everyone in your party ages 3 and up gets the following during their trip:

  • 1 Quick Service Meal Per Night of Stay
  • 1 Table Service Meal Per Night of Stay
  • 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Mug
Liberty Tree Tavern spread

Now you can use these prices to determine which plan might be right for you and your family or travel group. The Disney Dining Plan is available to book now for trips starting January 9th, 2024, or later — so head to the Disney World website or call the Reservations Hotline (407-939-3463) if you’re interested in booking.

Annual Passholders are still able to add a Dining Plan to a hotel stay and will not need to purchase a separate package with tickets. Disney Vacation Club guests are also subject to some specific rules — they can add a plan to a points reservation, but you’ll need to call the DVC line at 800-800-9800 to do so.

  1. Am I the only person struggling to see how this costs works out as a good deal at all? I know the DDP was never really a money saver, but it seems like you’d be paying a premium for convenience. With one less snack credit, you’d be hard pressed to actually get a value for the Standard plan unless you really tried. I tried pricing a table service and quick service meal at EPCOT and even going mostly most expensive items on the list means I would need to find a $20 snack for my snack credit!

  2. We are booking our Disney World Vacation for October 2024 right now, but apparently online booking is inundated with everyone doing the same, so we are calling direct to the resort. We are so excited to add the Standard Dining Plan to our trip. It’s our 30th wedding anniversary next Oct. and the dining plan is just a sweet icing on the cake. Thank-you AllEars for our commitment to bringing important information and joy to the masses!!
