Disney World Pools
The winter season comes with recurring closures each year. With less people swimming due to the cold weather, it makes for the perfect time to do some touch-ups on Disney World pools.
The Lava Pool waterslide at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort closed for refurbishment at the beginning of January, but it is set to open in early February. The pool is still open during this time.

Not sure any of those would ruin a trip. Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster would be a disappointment (and it is leading to even longer lines throughout Hollywood Studios), but I can’t say not riding it would ruin a vacation (even if you are a diehard Aerosmith fan!)
