Are you visiting Disney World this week? If so, you’ve probably already made your park pass and dining reservations, planned out your travel, and thought about which rides you want to visit. So what’s left now?

Before you hit the parks, make sure you know what’s NOT going to be available during your trip. There are 11 closures happening this week (July 3rd through the 9th) in the Disney World parks and hotels — check them all out here!
Magic Kingdom Closures
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad is continuing its long closure throughout this week. It still doesn’t have a reopening date yet.

Although we’ve seen some testing going on in the park, we’re assuming that the Railroad won’t reopen until construction is finished on the TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster. The construction interrupted the railroad’s tracks near Tomorrowland, so the train can’t pass by.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
This attraction is still closed in Magic Kingdom, and there’s no word yet on when it could reopen.

For now, it’s scheduled to be closed through all of this week.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
This character meet-and-greet location has been closed for a while now, and it’s scheduled to remain closed through this week. However, Disney has said that it will open sometime “in the coming months.”

When Pete’s Silly Sideshow is available again, guests will be able to meet Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy inside.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is where kids can go to be transformed into princesses and princes. It’ll be closed for all of this week, but its reopening date isn’t too far away!

Disney recently announced that the Magic Kingdom location will reopen on August 25th. The Disney Springs and Grand Floridian Resort locations don’t have reopening dates yet.
Harmony Barber Shop
And finally, the Harmony Barber Shop is also going to be closed for this week. It’s scheduled to reopen on July 31st.

When it’s open again, guests can head inside to get a haircut! Reservations are available now.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closures
Fantasmic!
The popular show Fantasmic! is going to be closed for all of this week. Its long closure still doesn’t have an end date.

When Fantasmic! does reopen, it’ll have a few updates and changes, including new characters and stunts.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Voyage of the Little Mermaid has been closed for a long time in Hollywood Studios, and it’ll remain closed throughout this week.

Disney hasn’t given any updates about the attraction’s potential reopening, but we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything.
Character Meet-and-Greets at Star Wars Launch Bay
Although Star Wars Launch Bay is open for guests to go inside, the character meet-and-greets are not currently happening.

Starting on July 17th, Darth Vader, BB-8, and Chewbacca will be returning to this spot to meet guests. The experiences will be available on Genie+ for guests who purchase that add-on.
Eat here, not there in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Closures
Celebration of Festival of the Lion King
Celebration of Festival of the Lion King is closing this week on July 5th (the last performances will be July 4th). When the show reopens on July 16th, it’ll be called Festival of the Lion King (like it was before the 2020 closures).

During the closure, performers will be practicing 2 scenes that are going to be re-added to the show: the tumble monkeys and the aerial acrobatic birds!
Learn more about the changes coming to this show.
EPCOT Closures
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
This film attraction is already closed, and we’re expecting it to remain closed through November 19th. That’s because this spot is going to be used for the Appleseed Orchard booth for EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival. The festival runs through November 19th.

We’ve already got a lot of information about this year’s festival, including all the menus and a complete line-up of the Eat to the Beat concert series.

Disney Water Park Refurbishments
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed, and we’re not expecting it to reopen this week. Disney hasn’t given an end date for the closure.

In the meantime, you can head to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for a similar experience!
Learn more about Typhoon Lagoon here.
This week is projected to be a busy one in Disney World, with many guests heading to the parks for the long holiday weekend. If you want to avoid the long ride wait times, make sure to get to the parks as early as possible and visit your favorite rides first!

You can also consider purchasing Genie+, which allows you to skip the standby line at certain attractions. This perk costs $15 per person, per day, and you’ll use the My Disney Experience app to make Lightning Lane reservations at those attractions. Check out our full guide to Genie+ here.
