Disney is launching a new photo session option for guests who want to immortalize their vacation with some professional snaps.

The sessions, which are currently offered as part of a pilot program, last 40 minutes and cost $399.
For that approximately $400, each Signature Portrait Session includes:
- Consultation, guidance, and capture by a specially trained Disney PhotoPass Portrait photographer and assistant using advanced photography and lighting equipment.
- Access to a variety of props to enhance your photos.
- Professional retouching of photos before delivery.
- Downloads of images taken during the session.

Sessions can be booked by contacting the Signature Portrait Experience Team at [email protected]. Due to the custom nature of the sessions, reservations are required and may be booked up to 60 days in advance. Party size, timing, and other specifics can be decided during the booking process.
According to Disney, the number of photos coming out of each session will depend on numerous factors, including how many locations a photographer chooses to visit during their session and the subsequent travel time between them. The company estimates that most parties will receive about 60 retouched photos, and stressed that only photos “meeting Disney’s quality standards” will be made available to view and download. Once the photo retouch process is complete, session photos will appear in the guest’s Disney PhotoPass gallery up to one week following the session. The images will be accessible online or via the My Disney Experience app, and will expire according to the expiration policy and are subject to the Disney PhotoPass Service terms and conditions.

Available locations for Signature Portrait Sessions include areas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Locations are subject to change according to weather conditions and resort operational needs, and do not include areas normally restricted to guest access.
- Some further rules Disney has laid out about the Portrait Sessions include:
- Guests may bring their own props, but they must adhere to Walt Disney World guidelines.
- While Disney stresses that the sessions are ideal for capturing proposals, engagements, anniversaries and save-the-dates, wedding attire is not permitted.
- Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If a guest cancels within 24 hours of their reservation time or is a no-show, they will be charged the full price of the session.

Disney is testing out a new, official Signature Portrait photography offering at Walt Disney World. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on this offering, including whether availability spreads to other areas of the resort.
