Who’s ready for an episode of Cribs, Disney Cruise Line edition??

All aboard! We recently took a trip on the Disney Fantasy, where we got to check out tons of cool experiences like the Pixar Day at Sea, a live performance of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, and, of course, a ride on the famous AquaDuck. But we know that cruise planning isn’t all about activities — you’ve also gotta know what you can expect to come home to at the end of the night!
Without further ado, let’s kick off the tour of our stateroom on the Disney Fantasy!

On our recent sailing, we stayed in a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, which can sleep three to four guests.

Since we were on one of the Pixar Day at Sea sailings, we got the Pixar room decor package, which was offered for purchase separately. It included tons of fun Pixar-themed keepsakes, like pillowcases and a bed runner…

…a banner with popular characters like Edna Mode and Sulley…

…and other decorations throughout the room!

If you purchase one of the room decor packages, you get to take everything home with you, making it a great souvenir on top of the fun it adds to the room.

Now, let’s look at what comes standard in the room! There’s a queen bed that sleeps two people…

…plus a single sofa bed. Select staterooms that sleep four people also have a pull-down bed.

The room has a 2-door “split bathroom” with a vanity, sink, shower, and combination tub/shower on one side, and a vanity, sink, and toilet on the other.

The vanity in the shower/tub side of the bathroom has decent counter space for a cruise ship bathroom.

And it’s nice to have a tub instead of only a shower, especially if you’re traveling with kiddos that still take baths!

The toilet is on the other side of the split bathroom…

…along with its own sink and vanity.

The doors to the bathroom are in the hallway right inside the stateroom door, with closets on the other side.

There are hangers provided inside the closets, plus robes that you’re welcome to use during your sailing.

That’s also where you’ll find a safe for storing valuables…

…plus some extra shelf space for storage.

There are also drawers across from the bed for additional storage.

Here’s a closer look at the sofa, before it’s been converted into a bed!

Across from the sofa is a desk, with a large mirror and the stateroom TV hanging above it.

Pull out the drawer on the top of the dresser to find stationery, postcards, and safety information!

If you open the door on the left-hand side of the desk, you’ll find the room’s mini fridge.

The decor around the room is fittingly ocean-themed, with several pieces of artwork that feature Disney’s cruise ships and nautical flags.

You can also spot cruise ships on the world map lampshades on the bedside lamps (plus, lots of not-so-hidden Mickeys lining the bottom!).

On the far side of the room, the verandah doors lead out to your private balcony, with chairs and a small table so you can relax and enjoy the ocean views as you sail!

Cruise ship staterooms are typically SUPER small, so we were impressed with the amount of storage and counter space our room managed to pack in! The nautical touches helped set the tone for the vacation, and the extra Pixar decor was the cherry on top!
