PHOTOS: We Found the Perfect Gift For Your ‘Star Wars’-Loving Dad in Disney World!

One of the exciting parts about planning a Disney World vacation is choosing your MagicBand!

There are a lot of options to choose from in your MagicBand design, like all sorts of different characters, colors, and themes. And more options will be coming when MagicBand+ debuts later this year. When we were in Hollywood Studios today, we noticed a new MagicBand design themed after an upcoming holiday!

We were walking through The Darkroom in Hollywood Studios today when we noticed this Darth Vader Father’s Day MagicBand!

It is a limited edition MagicBand (only 3,600 were made). It is black with Darth Vader on one side…

…and the words “Best Dad in the Galaxy” on the side of the band, as well. We’re not sure we would call Darth Vader the best dad in the galaxy, but we’re still here for this MagicBand.

MagicBands can be used as your park ticket, your room key if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, and can be connected to a debit or credit card to be used to pay for things around the parks. This MagicBand is $39.99 and available while supplies last.

MagicBand+ is launching sometime this summer, after an accidental release earlier this month, and will include the same features as MagicBand along with some more interactivity. You will be able to interact with the 50th Anniversary gold statues, as well as things around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and more.
