But…now what? It’s a little soul-crushing when you have to jump back into reality following the rush of excitement you feel from buying tickets, getting park passes, booking hotels, and grabbing dining reservations. But fear not! We have the solution!

Here are 4 Fun Ways to Count Down to Your Next Disney World Visit!

Mickey Countdown Calendar

Let’s start with the more traditional, classic option — a countdown calendar! If this sounds like your speed, then you’re in luck, as shopDisney has a Mickey Mouse Countdown Calendar for $39.99. It counts down the days until your next trip on one side…

…and keeps track of the date on the other!

This is a perfect addition to your desk, as it can bring a little bit of inspiration to a long day at work. It can also be used at home!

Mark The Days Left

The kiddos will love this one! (But to be honest, we do too — who doesn’t love stickers?) If your little one can’t read yet, this is a fun way to get them involved, and help them make sense of how much time remains until their next Disney trip!

While you could just use a calendar to mark down each day that passes until your trip, we prefer to use a 30 Day Countdown. And luckily, we have one for you!

Open This and Print it Out!

Once you print this 30 Day Calendar, you’ll need some stickers to mark off each day. We recommend using the Shiny Sparkle Star Stickers on Amazon which cost $9.99.

Once all the days have stickers on them, that means you’re headed to Disney World!

Advent Calendar

Want to know what makes time pass by faster? Gifts! That’s why we like this next countdown option so much! All you’ll need is the Disney Mini Brands Mystery Capsule Collectible, which you can buy at Target for $7.99!

Each ball has 5 separate compartments filled with a mystery collectible, so you can open a new one each day — just like an advent calendar! You can also choose to buy more of these capsules to make this option last longer than 5 days.

Surprise Outfit

The final 3 days before a trip seem to last forever! But there’s a way to surprise your trip buddy (or buddies) and fill the time with excitement! The idea is to surprise your kiddo, partner, friend, etc. with a new item each day, so they have an outfit for their first day in the parks!

So with 3 days left, you can surprise them with a backpack, like the Mickey Mouse Icon Flair Backpack for $59.99!

With 2 days left, you can surprise them with a Spirit Jersey, like the Walt Disney 50th Anniversary Spirit Jersey for $74.99.

And then, with 1 day left, you can complete the look with a pair of ears, like the Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Ear Headband for $29.99.

  1. I use the Countdown app on my iPhone ( I believe it is available for Android as week)
It is free but if you want to since it to all your devices via iCloud I thin it is about $3.

You can then make a widget for your home screen and watch the day’s countdown!
The app allows for multiple countdown clocks on one widget the you can customize.
