Being a Disney World Annual Passholder means you get some great perks!
You typically get discounts on merchandise and at select restaurants, access to special lounges, and a whole lot more. But there are a number of places and situations where your discount won’t work. Let’s talk about them!
As we were saying, there are some situations where your Disney World Annual Pass discount just isn’t going to work. The last thing we want is for you to find out what those situations are the hard way, which is what we’re here for. Besides, who’s going to read through all the fine print so that you don’t have to (pick me! pick me!) We’ve got your back!
Speaking of fine print, just have a look at what you’ll find on the Disney World Annual Passholder Discount site:
It does go over (in excruciating detail) all of the places and products that your Annual Passholder discount won’t work. Let’s see if we can break down some of the most important ones for you.
Location Exclusions
First up, let’s talk about location. You’re mainly going to be good with using your discount at most locations throughout Disney World with the exception of these three pavilions at EPCOT:
- China Pavilion (EPCOT)
- Japan Pavilion (EPCOT)
- Morocco Pavilion (EPCOT)
You also won’t be able to use your discount at any of these places:
- Arribas Brothers
- Curl® by Sammy Duvall
- Ghirardelli® Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop
- Pop Gallery
- Disney’s Character Warehouse
- Any other non-Disney-owned locations
Product Exclusions
Next, let’s talk about products. You’ll be able to use your Annual Passholder discount on quite a few products throughout Disney World with the exception of these: (This is not going to be an exhaustive list by any means.)
- Disney Gift Cards
- Park admission
- Rentals (e.g., strollers, ECVs)
- Personalization
- Memory Maker and Memory Maker One Day
- Disney Store Online
- Sundries
- Handmade items
- Special orders
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
- Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers
- Droid Depot packages
You’ll want to visit the Disney World Passholder Discounts site for the full list of exclusions so that you’re not tripped up on your next trip to Disney World.
