If You’re Heading to EPCOT’s First Food and Wine Festival Weekend…Good Luck

It’s the very first weekend of EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival!

Food & Wine Festival

We were in the parks trying EVERYTHING and experiencing all there is to offer when you visit on the first day. That day was certainly busy, but if you’re heading into EPCOT for the first official Food and Wine Festival weekend, we have one word — BEWARE.

Yeah, crowds in EPCOT are WILD right now.

As soon as we stepped into the park today, we knew it was going to be FILLED with people — just look at these entrance crowds!

And sure enough, it’s not just World Showcase that’s busy — we found crowds all over the park.

Of course, Connections Cafe was also busy because people love their Starbucks coffee (which is why we suggest going to Joffrey’s instead).

We spotted lots of large groups in the parks, as well as lots of festival-goers, so you’ll really want to keep track of your party!

Lots of groups!

So if you’re heading into EPCOT over one of the next few weekends, prepare for some long lines all around — at the entrance, festival booth lines, rides, and everything in between.

SO. MANY. PEOPLE.

Crowds all over Disney World have been extra heavy recently as some kids prepare to go back to school, so don’t forget to read our best tips for handling the crowds to prepare yourself. Stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest news!

  1. It always looks like this. Packed in shoulder to shoulder. They sell way too many tickets. Then after 2:00 it’s unmanageable. The arbitrary time benefits no one. Park hopping time must go back to normal. BC(before Covid) let’s go Disney, do better.
