Disney World is no stranger to bad weather.
Whether it’s hot temperatures during the summer, storms, or hurricanes, Disney World has seen it all. And if you’ll be heading into the parks today, December 15th, there’s an advisory in effect you will need to know about.
A tornado watch is currently in effect for Orange County and Osecola County, where Disney World is located. Currently, the warning is in effect through 4PM, according to WESH2.
Along with the watch, you should be prepared for severe weather throughout the day. FOX 35 Orlando has reported that severe storms and tornadoes are possible as a cold front moves through Central Florida.
If you will be in the parks today, you will want to prepare for rain and wind. For rain, bringing a poncho, umbrella, and water-resistant shoes can help to keep you dry throughout the day.
