New Genie+ CHANGES Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Soon

May the force be with you…and may wait times be in your favor.

There’s been a ton of Star Wars excitement recently, thanks to the May 4th festivities, Disneyland’s Star Wars After Hours events, Star Wars Celebration, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. With all of that in mind, we’re expecting some pretty long lines when character meet and greets return to Star Wars Launch Bay on July 17th. However, not every guest will have to wait in the standby line, so check out how you can bypass the long wait too.

The return of Star Wars character meet and greets at Star Wars Launch Bay has been long-awaited, meaning, we can expect some pretty long wait times to meet these galactic heroes (and villains…looking at you, Darth Vader).

Fortunately, there’s an option to bypass the regular queue — if you’re willing to pay for it, that is. Star Wars Launch Bay (it seems like this is the spot for the returning BB-8 meet and greet, but Disney has not yet to specified), Star Wars Launch Bay: Encounter Darth Vader, and Star Wars Launch Bay: Meet Chewbacca have all been added to the list of Lightning Lane offerings.

With lines promising to be long, this could be a great option for guests with Genie+ added to their ticket. All of these Star Wars Launch Bay Lightning Lane offerings will not be available until July 17th, when the characters return.
